Cowboy Golf Returns To Action In Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will be back in action this week when it takes part in the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational at Shady Oaks Country Club.
The Cowboys will be one of 15 teams competing at the par-70, 6,885-yard layout. The event will consist of 36 holes on Monday with a shotgun start and will be followed by Tuesday's final round. Play will get underway at 8 a.m.
For OSU, the event is the third of four scheduled this fall. The Cowboys will conclude their slate next week at the Big 12 Match Play Tournament at Houston Oaks Country Club.
This week's event will mark the fourth consecutive year head coach Alan Bratton's squad has traveled to Fort Worth to compete. The past three years have seen OSU in action at the Colonial Collegiate Invitational at Colonial Country Club.
Fifth years Rayhan Thomas and Hazen Newman will be joined in the starting five by senior Jonas Baumgartner, sophomore John Wild and freshman Gaven Lane.
