Oklahoma State Cross Country Set to Host 84th Cowboy Jamboree

THE BASICS
Oklahoma State cross country returns to the course for the second time this season for the 84th Cowboy Jamboree on the state-of-the-art Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater.The Jamboree is arguably the premier meet of the NCAA cross country regular season, with eight top 5 and 13 top-10 teams competing across the two collegiate races.

Run It Back
The Cowboys own 25 victories at the Cowboys Jamboree all-time, with Isai Rodriguez being the most recent of 20 OSU individual Cowboy Jamboree Champions. He also owns the current course record in the 8K after his performance at last year's Jamboree. The second-ranked Cowboys got off to a hot start this season, winning the Cowboy Preview earlier this month. All-Americans Alex Maier and Victor Shitsama will be making their season debuts alongside a deep and talented Cowboy roster.Â
The Cowgirls enter the Jamboree with their highest ranking in program history at No. 3, with three much-anticipated season debuts on the horizon in All-Americans Taylor Roe, Gabby Hentemann and freshman phenom Natalie Cook. Several other Cowgirls are also making their season debuts after their fourth-place team finish at the Cowboy Preview on Sept. 1.

MEET SCHEDULE (ALL TIMES CT)
The women's 6K kick things off at 7:45 a.m. CT with the men's 8K and high school boy's and girl's 5Ks immediately following. Spectator parking will be held at O'Brate Stadium with shuttles running to the course every 20 minutes starting at 7:00 a.m. CT.Â
