Brian Stark Named To Haskins Watch List

STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State's Brian Stark has been named to the Haskins Award Preseason Watch List it was announced today.
The award honors the player of the year in college men's golf, as selected by college golfers, coaches and members of the college golf media. Players on the Haskins Award Watch List were selected by a panel of Golfweek and Golf Channel writers.
A senior from Kingsburg, Calif., Stark was tabbed as a third-team All-American last season as well as a GCAA All-America Scholar and an All-Big 12 pick.
Stark opened the year with three consecutive top 10s after tying for third at The Carmel Cup, tying for fifth at the Fighting Illini Invitational and a solo sixth-place finish at the Colonial Collegiate Invitational.
During the spring slate, he finished inside the top 20 on eight occasions, including a tie for seventh place at the NCAA Columbus Regional.
