Cowgirl Softball Drops Game Two Of Bedlam

NORMAN, Okla. – The No. 7 Oklahoma State softball team lost to No. 1 Oklahoma, 6-0, on Friday at Marita Hynes Field.
With the loss, OSU moved to 38-11 and 14-3 in the Big 12. Oklahoma improved to 47-1 and 16-1 in the conference.
Morgan Day fell to 9-3, pitching six innings, allowing six runs on seven hits.
Oklahoma capitalized on an OSU defensive miscue. A fielder's choice that resulted in zero outs in the third inning led to a five-run outburst from the Sooners.
The Cowgirls were kept off the board in the fifth inning, when a run was cut down at the plate trying to score on a single to right from Katelynn Carwile.
The Bedlam series finale will be played tomorrow at 4 p.m. CT, televised on ESPNU.
