Cowboy Baseball Places Four On All-Tournament Team

ARLINGTON, Texas – Four Oklahoma State Cowboys were named to the 2022 Big 12 Championship All-Tournament Team as David Mendham, Roc Riggio, Griffin Doersching and Caeden Trenkle earned the honor for their performances at Globe Life Field.
That group helped OSU reach the semifinals of the tourney as the Pokes went 3-2 and were within one win of advancing to the title game.
Mendham earned the all-tourney nod at first base as he finished with five hits and an RBI. He also walked three times and scored three runs.
Riggio hit .333 in Arlington, going 7-for-21 at the plate with a home run double and two RBIs. The second baseman led the Cowboys with 11 total bases and six runs scored.
Doersching, who earned the DH spot, smashed a pair of home runs and a double and was second on the team with six RBIs.
Trenkle was OSU's leading hitter at the tourney, posting a .429 batting average (6-for-14). The center fielder was also 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts and drove in four runs.
