Game Flow
- The first half remained close for the first 15 minutes, but Oklahoma State managed to gain a bit of distance from the Red Raiders with a 7-0 run to take a 19-14 lead.
- Texas Tech was able to respond with an 8-0 run to regain the lead right before the half, but Bryce Thompson hit a contested jumper at the buzzer to tie the game at 27 going into the break.
- The Red Raiders took a 49-39 lead following a 7-0 run at the midway point of the second half.
- OSU answered with a 10-0 run of its own to tie the game with less than a minute to play. After a tip in by Texas Tech, Bryce Thompson came in clutch by hitting a go-ahead three pointer from the corner.
- Rondel Walker sparked the Cowboy offense in the first half, as he connected on all three of his three point attempts. His 12 points off the bench helped OSU show off their depth by outscoring the Texas Tech bench 17-3.
- During the Cowboy's late second half run their defense held the Red Raiders scoreless for over 9 minutes.
- Moussa Cisse grabbed 10 rebounds vs. Texas Tech to record his fourth straight game with 10+ rebounds. It was also the eighth time this season he had completed this feat.Â
- Cisse also tied his season-high in blocks in Big 12 play when he had 5 blocked shots on Saturday afternoon.Â
- Oklahoma State won the paint battle once again, as it outscored Texas Tech 26-22. It marked the 23rd time in 30 games OSU has scored more than its foe in the paint
- Gave OSU eight Big 12 wins, marking the third-straight year it has won seven or more in a season. The Cowboys have won eight or more in a year two times under Mike Boynton and 14 times since 2000.
- Earned Oklahoma State its third win over a ranked team this year.
- Improved the Cowboys to .500 on the season, making it four out of five years having finished.500 or better under Boynton. OSU has reached that mark, or better, 34 times since 1980 (42 years).
- Gave OSU wins in four of the past five games in the series that dates back to 1937.
- OSU has made at least one three-pointer in 727 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 13, 2001, which is the 24th longest current streak in college basketball.
- Isaac Likekele has recorded a rebound in 123-straight games dating back to his freshman year.
