Game Flow
- Early in the first half Oklahoma jumped out to a 10-2 lead, but Oklahoma State quickly responded by taking the lead from the Sooners with a 9-0 run to force a timeout.
- OU was able to regain the lead and extend it to double-digits with a 12-0 run with less than 10 minutes left in the half. This allowed the Sooners to take a 29-19 lead into the halftime break.
- The Sooners kept their distance from the Cowboys for a majority of the second half but OSU brought itself within five with less than two minutes to play.
- Oklahoma State went on a 7-0 run in the final minute and a half. The run was capped off by a Isaac Likekele lob to Moussa Cisse to tie the game with 7.9 seconds to force overtime.
- In overtime the both teams traded leads but Oklahoma was able to edge out the Cowboys 66-62.
- Avery Anderson III led the way for the Cowboys, scoring 25 points on Saturday marking the fifth time this season that he scored 20 or more points in a game. 9 of those points came from behind the arc as he went 3-4 from three.
- He also recorded six rebounds which marked the fifth time in Big 12 play that he grabbed six or more rebounds
- Moussa Cisse scored 12 points against the Sooners, marking the second-straight game he scored in double digits and the eighth time this season.Â
- He also grabbed 10 rebounds to record his fourth double-double of the season.
- Kalib Boone recorded his 104th career block to move up to 11th place on Oklahoma State's all-time blocks list.
- Isaac Likekele tallied his 435th career assist to pass Matt Clark for third in school history.
- OSU has made at least one three-pointer in 725 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 13, 2001, which is the 24th longest current streak in college basketball.
- Isaac Likekele has recorded a rebound in 121-straight games dating back to his freshman year.Â
- Avery Anderson III has reached double figures in scoring six-straight games after the Oklahoma game on Saturday, which marked a season high for consecutive games with 10 or more points for him.Â
