Cowboys Back In Action At Cabo Collegiate

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will resume its spring slate this weekend when it begins play at the Cabo Collegiate at Cabo del Sol's Cove Club Course.
The third-ranked Cowboys will be one of 15 teams in action at the par-71, 6,807-yard layout. The 54-hole event will get underway on Sunday and will run through Tuesday with 18 holes being contested each day. OSU will begin its first round at 8:00 a.m. (MST) and will be grouped with Florida State and Vanderbilt.
Contested for the 11th time last year at TPC San Antonio's Oak Course, the Cowboys finished in sixth place. OSU has competed in the event on five previous occasions, winning its first three starts in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Austin Eckroat claimed medalist honors in 2019 with a 14-under total of 199, which included a tournament-record 63 during his second round.
The tournament will be the third of the spring for head coach Alan Bratton's squad, who won their opener at the Amer Ari Invitational before posting a runner-up finish at the Gators Invitational in its most recent start.
OSU's lineup will consist of senior Eugenio Chacarra, juniors Brian Stark and Rayhan Thomas and sophomores Bo Jin and Jonas Baumgartner.
