Cowgirl Softball Drops Game to South Florida
February 19, 2022 | Cowgirl Softball
CLEARWATER, Fla. – A four-run fourth inning helped South Florida overcome the No. 7 Oklahoma State softball team, 7-1, at the St. Pete Clearwater Elite Invitational Saturday.
With the loss, the Cowgirls fell to 5-3.
OSU's lone run was courtesy of a Chyenne Factor solo home run in the top of the fourth.
American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year, Georgina Corrick, kept the Cowgirl bats quiet, holding them to one run off three hits. Factor's home run was the first earned run given up by Corrick this season through 30 2/3 innings of work.
The Cowgirls play their second game of the day at 5 p.m. versus No. 5 Washington.
