Game Flow
- West Virginia, powered by three-point shooting, was able to jump on OSU early and led 19-14 at the midway point of the first half but the Cowboys were able to take the lead from the Mountaineers following an 8-0 run shortly after.
- After taking the lead, Oklahoma State was able to ride that momentum to a 36-30 halftime lead.
- Fueled by their lockdown defense, the Cowboys opened up the half on a 16-2 run to push their lead to 20.
- After taking the large lead Oklahoma State was able to keep its distance from West Virginia the rest of the way to secure a 81-58 victory.
- After the 4:30-minute mark in the first half, the Cowboy defense held the Mountaineers to 1-19 shooting over an 11-minute span.
- Oklahoma State out-rebounded the Mountaineers by 24 in the win.
- Continuing his trend of playing well against West Virginia, Avery Anderson III made an impact on the offensive end on Saturday as he posted 18 points and grabbed a season-high seven rebounds. Coming into Saturday, Avery Anderson III had averaged 19 points per game over the last three times the Cowboys had taken on West VirginiaÂ
- Moussa Cisse scored a career-high 18 points on Saturday. It was the second time in his past three games he's reached double-figure scoring and the sixth time this season. It marked the most points scored for Cisse since his 17 points on opening night against UT-Arlington.Â
- With 10 rebounds, Cisse also recorded his first double-double performance in Big 12 play and third of the year.Â
- Oklahoma State dominated in the paint once again, as they outscored WVU 40-16. It marked the 18th time in 24 games OSU has scored more than its foe in the paint.Â
- Isaac Likekele tallied his 428th career assist to move up to fifth all-time on Oklahoma State's assists chart. He passed Randy Wright who recorded 427 assists wearing a Cowboys uniform.
- Was its largest margin of victory in the West Virginia series.Â
- Improved the Cowboys to 12-12 heading into their final six games of the year.Â
- Tied the season series at 1-1 between OSU and West Virginia.Â
- Gave OSU wins in three of the past four meetings between the two schools.Â
