Cowboys Back In Action At Colonial

FORT WORTH, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will be back in action this week when it tees it up at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational at Colonial Country Club.
The Cowboys will be one of 16 teams competing at the historic par-70, 7,204-yard layout. The 54-hole event will be contested over two days with 36 holes being played on Monday and the third and final round taking place on Tuesday.
Play will begin on Monday with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start. Tuesday's round will get underway at 8 a.m.
Head coach Alan Bratton's squad opened the fall season with a seventh-place showing last month at the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational. Individually, fifth-year standout Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen led the way for the Pokes with a ninth-place finish.
This week's starting five will feature junior Jonas Baumgartner, Neergaard-Petersen, junior Bo Jin, senior Hazen Newman and John Wild. The freshman will be making his Cowboy debut.
At last year's event at Colonial, the Cowboys finished in a tie for third place.
