Brown Named Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State kicker Tanner Brown was named Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Saturday's win over Texas Tech.
Brown led all players in scoring with 15 points in OSU's 41-31 win over the Red Raiders. He was 4-for-4 on field goal attempts to match a career high and tie for the third-most made field goals in a game in school history. He converted attempts of 42, 22, 34 and 24, with his final kick giving the Cowboys the lead for good at the end of the third quarter.
Brown improved to 8-of-8 on field goal attempts this season and added three extra points, which continued his streak of consecutive PATs made to 62 attempts in-a-row.
The recognition marks OSU's sixth conference player of the week honors for the Cowboys this season, as well as the second career weekly honor for Brown. It is also makes it consecutive weeks, and the third time this season, a Cowboy has been named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week.
Oklahoma State returns to action, Saturday, traveling to face No. 13 TCU at 2:30 p.m. CT at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
