Game Flow
- Kansas was able to jump out to a 24-13 lead midway through the first half following an 8-0 run.
- Oklahoma State's defense locked down and did not allow the Jayhawk offense to score for the final 9:12 of the first half. This enabled a 14-0 run for the Cowboys to tie the game at 29 at the break.
- Despite the ending to the first half, Kansas found its legs again with a 7-0 run to retain a 10-point lead after the second media timeout of the second half.

- Oklahoma State was able to tie its longest scoring run of the season at 16-0 (end of first half and start of second half) thanks to the defense holding Kansas to 0-of-20 shooting to end the first half.
