Game Flow
- The Cowboys were able to jump on the Gators in the first half with an 11-0 run to give them a 32-16 lead with less than 7 minutes left in the first half.
- Florida was able to answer the OSU run with a 7-0 run of its own to bring the lead to less than 10, but Oklahoma State still held strong to take a 45-32 lead into the halftime break.
- The Gators were able to bring themselves back into the game with an 8-0 run to cut the Cowboy's lead to five early in the second half. Their momentum continued as they took a 58-56 lead with less than 9 minutes to play.
- After losing the lead, Oklahoma State was never able to regain it as Florida went on to win 81-72.
- Oklahoma State hit a season-high three-pointers made for the first half with seven on only 10 attempts Saturday in Gainesville.Â
- OSU also dominated the paint early in the game, out-scoring Florida 20-8 in the paint in the first half. This helped lead the Cowboys to score the most points Florida has allowed in the first half this season.Â
- Rondel Walker recorded three steals vs. Florida which marked the fourth time in five games that he has had at least three steals.
- Isaac Likekele scored 14 points on Saturday. This made it back-to-back games that Likekele has scored double-digit points after he scored 13 on Wednesday vs No. 23 Iowa State.
- Bryce Thompson also scored 12 points to make it five of his last six games reaching double-figures.
- He also tied a career-high in three-pointers made with four. He had done this two times prior with the most recent coming against Texas Tech earlier this season
- Oklahoma State kept the pressure in the paint, out-scoring Florida 32-12 in the game, which is the 15th time in 20 games that the Cowboys have accomplished this feat.Â
