Game Flow

Oklahoma State and Iowa State found themselves in a back-and-forth first half, but the Cowboys were able to take the lead right before the break with an Isaac Likekele steal and dunk to go up 35-34.
The back-and-forth theme remained to start the second half as the Cowboys and Cyclones found themselves gridlocked at 51-51 at the midpoint of the second half.

Avery Anderson III had a career day when he scored a career-high 34 points to top his previous career-high of 31 which he set at West Virginia on March 6, 2021
He also tied his career-high in assists with five and made three-point field goals with five.
Isaac Likekele tallied three steals vs. Iowa State to move up to 13th on Oklahoma State all-time steals list with 151 career steals.
Isaac Likekele, who currently holds sole possession of seventh on the all-time career assist list, notched his 400th career assist when he recorded a season-high 8 assists to bring him to 405 overall.
Oklahoma State was able to dominate the paint vs the Cyclones outscoring them 32-18 over the course of the game. This marked the 14th time in 19 games that they have outscored their opponents in the lane.
