- The low scoring first half continued as the Horned Frogs were able to maintain their lead to take 25-20 advantage into the break.
- Coming out of the break, Oklahoma State looked to fuel offense from their defensive efforts. They did just that by forcing five turnovers in a four-minute stretch to make an 8-2 and take a 36-35 lead over the Horned Frogs at the 12-minute mark.
- TCU answered the OSU run with a 6-0 run of its own to take a 48-40 late in the second half but the Cowboys finished the game on a 7-0 run – led by Rondel Walker – to win the game 57-56.

- Prior to the game Mike Miles Jr. was averaging 16.9 points per game but the Cowboys were able to hold him to just 8 points.
- Rondel Walker was the hero for the Cowboys hitting a huge three pointer down the stretch to bring the Cowboys within one and then sinking two free-throws to put the Cowboys up with only seconds left.Â
- Walker also recorded three or more steals for the fourth game this season. ???????
- Made it the team's second-straight win after the victory over No. 1 Baylor on Saturday and snapped a two-game losing streak in the series.Â
