Game Flow
- Oklahoma State was able to jump out to an early lead on the top-ranked Bears with a 12-0 run to bring the score 15-4 early in the contest.Â
- The Cowboys were fueled by another big run, this time 12-2, to take a 34-22 lead into halftime.
- Baylor was able to chip into the Oklahoma State lead with a 6-0 run, but OSU still held a 46-35 lead by holding Baylor to 28 percent shooting up to that point.
- Baylor put the pressure on Oklahoma State with a late 7-0 run but the Cowboys' Bryce Thompson answered and finished the game on a 6-0 run of his own to propel the Cowboys to a 61-54 victory.

- The win against Baylor on Saturday marked the fourth win in school history vs. the No. 1 overall team and the first since 2/27/2010 vs. Kansas.Â
- It was also the first time that Oklahoma State beat the No. 1 overall team on the road.
- Head Coach Mike Boynton recorded his 19th win vs. a ranked opponent in his tenure. It was also his first win against the No. 1 ranked team.
- The first half 18-point lead for the Cowboys gave them the largest lead that any Baylor opponent has had against. the Bears all season.Â
- Oklahoma State held Baylor to a season-low 54 points. The Bears came into the game ranked 19th in the country in scoring offense averaging 81.5 points per game.
- Tyreek Smith recorded a career-high eight rebounds. He previously also recorded eight on February 1, 2021 vs. Oklahoma.Â
- Bryce Thompson recorded a new career-high in points with 19. His previous high was 15Â which he scored earlier this season vs. Charleston.
