A Season for the Ages

STILLWATER - When the 2021 football season started, the pundits had it all figured out. They pegged Oklahoma State to win 7.5 games and finish somewhere in the middle of the Big 12.
When will they ever learn?
The Cowboys matched a program record with 12 wins, including victories over traditional powers Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Texas. OSU strung together the best record in the Big 12 during the regular season and finished the season ranked No. 7 in the final AP poll, which tied for the third-best final AP ranking in school history.
Playing in its fifth New Year's Six bowl game since 2010, OSU recorded the biggest come-from-behind win in the history of the program when it erased a 21-point deficit to topple No. 5 Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.
