September 26, 2021 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team was ranked in both major polls released Sunday, landing at No. 19 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 18 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll.
With this week's appearance in the AP Top 25, OSU has now been ranked in poll in 14 consecutive seasons, beginning in 2008. The streak is the 10th longest active stretch in the FBS.
A 4-0 start to the year has the Cowboys ranked the highest they've been in both polls this season. OSU is one of three Big 12 teams ranked in the polls, joined by Oklahoma and Baylor.
After knocking off No. 25 Kansas State on Saturday, No. 19/18 Oklahoma State hosts its second-consecutive ranked foe as the No. 21/24 Baylor Bears come to Stillwater. Kickoff on Saturday is set for 6 p.m. at Boone Pickens Stadium on ESPN2.
