Cowgirl Soccer Duo Tabbed Academic All-Americans
July 04, 2021 | Cowgirl Soccer
AUSTIN, Texas – Oklahoma State's Hannah Webb and Camy Huddleston have collected 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
Webb was named to the Academic All-America First Team, while Huddleston earned a spot on the Academic All-America Second Team. The CoSIDA Academic All-America teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The selection of Webb and Huddleston marks the second time in program history multiple Cowgirls have earned Academic All-America honors from CoSIDA. In 2008, OSU's Yolanda Odenyo, Jessica Jarrell and Jamie Markaverich achieved that status.
For Webb, this marks her second selection as a CoSIDA Academic All-American after she received third-team accolades in 2019. She joins Krista Lopez (2010-11) as OSU's only two-time CoSIDA Academic All-America selections.
Additionally, Webb is now one of four Cowgirls in program history to earn Academic All-America First Team honors, joining Lopez, Odenyo and Anna Beffer, the latter two having achieved that status from the NSCAA/United Soccer Coaches.
A native of Mansfield, Texas, Webb earned her degree in mathematics in May and posted a 4.00 grade point average. She started all 18 games for the Cowgirls this season, helping lead the team to the NCAA Sweet 16, and tallied a goal and four assists.
Huddleston graduated in December with a 3.98 GPA and a degree in biochemistry & molecular biology/pre-med science. She played in 10 games in 2020 and recorded a pair of assists before an injury ended her season.
