Cowgirl Soccer Duo Recognized Among Nation’s Best

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's Kim Rodriguez and Olyvia Dowell were named to the 2020-21 TopDrawerSoccer.com Best XI Teams.
Rodriguez earned a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer Best XI First Team, while Dowell was named to the Best XI Third Team.
The duo helped lead OSU to a 13-3-2 record and an NCAA Women's Soccer Championship Sweet 16 appearance, and the Cowgirls finished 12th in the TopDrawerSoccer.com postseason rankings and 14th in the final United Soccer Coaches poll.
In 16 games, Rodriguez tallied a goal and five assists while anchoring a defense that posted nine shutouts and allowed just 17 goals. Named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Second Team for a second-straight year, Rodriguez ranks seventh on OSU's all-time assists list with 21.
Dowell was the top scorer on an OSU squad that ranked seventh nationally with 40 goals this season as she started all 18 games for the Cowgirls and posted 12 goals and seven assists.
A sophomore, Dowell ranked fifth in the NCAA with 31 points on the season, while her 12 goals tied for sixth most nationally.
