THE BASICS
As Oklahoma State prepares for another action-packed weekend of outdoor competition, the first Pokes to compete will appear at the Joe Walker Invitational on April 9-10 on the campus of the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi.
IN THE POLLS
In its week two installment of the National Track & Field Rating Index, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) ranked the Cowgirls No. 2 in the Midwest Region, up one spot from their week one ranking and second only to Iowa in the region. The Cowboys slipped two spots, down to No. 15 in the Midwest Region.
LAST TIME OUT
In Oklahoma State's last outdoor track and field competition, the Baylor Invitational:
- Oklahoma State athletes combined for 31 top-ten finishes on the day with 13 of those being within the top five.
- Washington-State transfer Kelsey Kehl earned the first event win of her Oklahoma State career, taking the women's javelin title with a 45.14m throw
- Saara Hakanen, Finnish jumps specialist, claimed the first event win of her sophomore outdoor season with a 13.00m mark in the triple jump, a distance that ranks third all-time in Cowgirl history.

MEET SCHEDULE (ALL TIMES CT)
The Joe Walker Invitational is slated to open up with the 100 meter hurdles as a part of the women's heptathlon at noon on April 2. Competition will continue throughout the weekend and end with the men's 4x400 meter relay at 4:30 p.m. on April 3.
