Cowgirl Softball Drops Midweek to Shockers

Wichita, Kan. — Oklahoma State softball fell to 36-6 on the season with a 3-2 loss against the Wichita State Shockers on Tuesday.
Carrie Eberle (16-1) drew the start in the circle for the Cowgirls, allowing one earned run in four innings of work. Kelly Maxwell (13-2) came on in relief, giving up one earned run in two innings in the loss.
Reagan Wright (1-for-3, HR, RBI) and Michaela Richbourg (1-for-3, HR, RBI) led the way for Oklahoma State against the Shockers, each launching a solo home run to give the Cowgirls their two runs on the day.
Hayley Busby, Sydney Pennington, and Karli Petty also tacked on hits in the game.
The Cowgirls will travel to Austin, Texas this weekend to take on the Texas Longhorns in a three-game series. The first game of the series is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. CT on April 30.
