• Oklahoma State's men's golf team will seek its 11th Big 12 title this week when it begins play at the Big 12 Championship at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas.
• Overall, the Cowboys have won 55 league titles and have produced 48 individual champions since the program's first season in 1947.

Championship 411
• The Cowboys will be the tournament's No. 2 seed and will be grouped with top-seeded Oklahoma. The two teams will get their first round underway at 8 a.m. (CST) on Monday.
• The tournament will consist of 72 holes with 36 being played on Monday followed by 18-hole days on Tuesday and Wednesday. Pairings for the second day of play will be based on the 36-hole totals from Monday's action. The final day's pairings will be based on the 54-hole team totals with the leaders teeing off last.

OSU At the Big 12 Championship
The Cowboys have won 10 Big 12 crowns in the history of the event. OSU won three of the first four tournaments, finishing atop the leaderboard in 1997, 1998 and 2000. The Cowboys' next league title came in 2005 before reeling off five-straight victories from 2007-2011. OSU claimed No. 10 in 2019 in the first-ever Big 12 Championship contested at The Greenbrier.

Individual Success
OSU has produced the event's individual medalist on 10 occasions with Leif Westerberg (1997), Charles Howell (2000), Anders Hultman (2002), Hunter Mahan (2003), Pablo Martin (2007), Rickie Fowler (2008), Morgan Hoffmann (2009, 2011), Stratton Nolen (2016) and Kristoffer Ventura (2018) all taking top honors.

Current Cowboys At The Big 12 Championship
This week's event will mark the first career Big 12 Championship start for four Cowboys. Ausitn Eckroat has made one at the Big 12 Championship. He tied for 14th place at the 2019 event. Aman Gupta was the squad's substitute in 2019. Eugenio Chacarra, Jonas Baumgartner and Bo Jin will be making their first starts.

Karsten Creek ... The Home of OSU Golf
This spring, Karsten Creek will once again host NCAA action with the home of the Cowboys serving as a host site for regional action. The Tom Fazio design has hosted the NCAA Championship on three occasions (2003, 2011, 2018) as well as the Karsten Creek Collegiate in 1996, the NCAA Central Regional in 2001, the Ping/Golfweek Preview in 2002 and 2010, the NCAA South Central Regional in 2009 and the NCAA Stillwater Regional in 2016.

• The Cowboys are ranked third in both the Golfweek/SagarinRanking and the Golfstat ranking.
• Six of OSU's 10 Big 12 titles have been won at Prairie Dunes.
• The lowest 54-hole total in tournament history came at Prairie Dunes in 2000 via Charles Howell's 10-under 200 (66-66-68).
• The best 72-hole tally in Big 12 history came via Morgan Hoffmann at Prairie Dunes in 2009. He posted a 4-under 276 total (71-71-68-66) on the way to the first or his first two Big 12 titles at the venue.
