Cowboy Baseball Game Rained Out
April 13, 2021 | Cowboy Baseball
STILLWATER – Due to rain and lightning, Oklahoma State's game against Oral Roberts tonight at O'Brate Stadium has been deemed a Halted Contest that will not be resumed or completed at a later date. Under rule, it is determined to be no contest.
The two teams were tied at 1-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning with Cowboy runners on first and second base and no outs.
OSU had plated a run in the first inning before the Golden Eagles tied the score with an unearned run in the fifth.
The stats will not officially count, but Cowboy right-hander Bryce Osmond had struck out a career-best nine through five innings.
OSU will return to action Friday when the Cowboys open a Big 12 Conference series at TCU.
