Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State's women's tennis team earned its second conference victory of the season in dominating fashion on Sunday, defeating Iowa State, 6-1, at the Greenwood Tennis Center.

With the win, OSU improved to 9-10 overall and 2-4 in league action on the year.

OSU made a statement early, taking the doubles point. Dariya Detkovskaya and Ayumi Miyamoto started things off, picking up a 6-3 win over Iowa State's Chie Kezuka and Ting-Pei Chang. Alana Wolfberg and Lenka Stara finished off the Cyclone doubles duo of Thasaporn Naklo and Miska Kadleckova, 6-4, to claim the doubles point for OSU.

The Cowgirls entered singles play with a 1-0 lead when Ayumi Miyamoto dominated her match from start to finish, defeating Maty Cancini, 6-1, 6-2. Dariya Detkovskaya led coast-to-coast in her victory over Christin Hsieh, 6-2, 6-2. Bunyawi Thamchaiwat defeated Iowa State's Thasaporn Naklo, 5-7, 6-3, 6-3, in her final match on her home courts.

After dropping hard-fought first sets, Lenka Stara and Alana Wolfberg respectively battled back and earned points for the Cowgirls. Stara beat Chie Kezuka, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 and Wolfberg took down Miska Kadleckova, 6-7, 6-2, 6-0.
