Cowgirls Sweep Red Raiders in Lubbock

Lubbock, Texas – Oklahoma State softball improved to 32-5 (8-1 Big 12) on the year by defeating Texas Tech (16-19, 0-9 Big 12) on Sunday.
Carrie Eberle (14-1) earned her second victory of the weekend against the Red Raiders. The returning All-American allowed two earned runs in her 11th complete game of the season.
Eberle struck out four and gave up just four hits on the day.
Offensively, the Cowgirls picked up where they left off on Saturday, hammering another four home runs in the series finale.
Hayley Busby (3-for-5, 2 HR, 4 RBI) led the way for the Cowgirls in the 10-3 victory, driving in four runs on three hits. Busby recorded her second multi-homer game of the season, with her two-homer performance against the Red Raiders.
Kiley Naomi (1-for-4, HR, RBI) started the game off with a leadoff home run, while Sydney Pennington (1-for-3, HR, RBI, BB) launched her seventh long ball of the year.
Returning All-American Alysen Febrey also had another two-hit day to contribute to the Cowgirls 10 hits in the game.
Oklahoma State is scheduled to be back in action on Friday, April 16th in Stillwater to begin a three-game series against the Baylor Bears. The game is set to begin at 6 p.m. CT.
