Cowgirls Drop Conference Opener

Lawrence, Kan. – Oklahoma State softball fell to 24-5 (0-1 Big 12) on the season after a 7-4 loss at Kansas.
Carrie Eberle (9-1) got the start in the circle for the Cowgirls. Eberle gave up just one earned run in the contest, while striking out seven.
Reagan Wright (2-for-2) led the way offensively for the Cowgirls. Sydney Pennington recorded one hit on the night with two RBI.
Pennington and returning All-American Alysen Febrey hit home runs in the loss.
The Cowgirls are back in action tomorrow against the Jayhawks at 2 p.m. CT. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
