Cowboys Third At George Hannon Collegiate

Day One Results
AUSTIN, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's golf team opened play at the George Hannon Collegiate with a 36-hole total of 563 on Monday to stand alone in third place at the University of Texas Golf Club.
The Cowboys finished the day at 5-under par and six shots behind Texas for second place at the par-71, 7,372-yard layout. Oklahoma leads the event heading into tomorrow's final round with its 555 total.
OU's Logan McAllister grabbed the individual lead with a 133 tally after posting rounds of 65 and 68.
Eugenio Chacarra finished the day in sole possession of third place after carding rounds of 67 and 70. During his opening round, Chacarra started on the third hole and carded his first birdie of the day at the sixth. On his inward nine, the sophomore posted four birdies for a 3-under 33 total. His sixth birdie of the round came at the first.
A pair of Cowboys joined their teammate inside the top 10 with sophomore Aman Gupta and freshman Jonas Baumgartner sharing sixth place at 140.
Gupta posted rounds of 68 and 72. His opening round included an eagle at the par-5 14th and a hole-in-one two holes later with a 2-iron at the 251-yard par 3.
Baumgartner followed an opening 71 with a 69 during his afternoon round.
Freshman Bo Jin posted a pair of 73s to stand in a tie for 33rd place at 146, while junior Austin Eckroat carded rounds of 73 and 74 for a 147 total to stand in a tie for 38th place.
Sophomore Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen is competing individually. He posted scores of 73 and 71 to finish the day tied for 24th place at 144.
