DENTON, Texas — Despite being down a player for the majority of the match, Oklahoma State was able to extend its winning streak Sunday at North Texas as the 15^th-ranked Cowgirls posted a 4-3 victory in double overtime at Mean Green Soccer Stadium.

Grace Yochum tallied the golden goal in the 103^rd minute to lift OSU to 9-2-1 on the season as the Cowgirls notched their sixth consecutive win.

Adding to the impressive accomplishment, OSU defeated a UNT team that was unbeaten in its last 54 home matches and riding a program-record 18-game home winning streak.

With Plotz out, the Cowgirls turned to freshman Amber Lockwood goal, and in just the second game of her career, Lockwood recorded six saves in the win.

The Cowgirls struck first 30 minutes into the match when Yochum found the back of the net for her seventh goal of the season.

The lead was short-lived, however, as less than two minutes later, UNT tied the score on a goal by Madi Starrett.

UNT (5-1-0) would take a 2-1 advantage into intermission as Tayler Hunter scored with just 2:10 remaining in the opening half.

In the 69^th minute, Olyvia Dowell netted OSU's first equalizer of the day as she collected her seventh goal of the season to tie the score at 2-2.

The home team would go back on top just three minutes later when Taylor Tufts put one past Lockwood to give UNT a 3-2 advantage.

But once again, OSU answered as Charmé Morgan converted a penalty kick in the 78^th minute to make the score 3-3.

After a scoreless first overtime period, Yochum provided the Cowgirl heroics. Off a free kick from Dowell, Yochum flicked a header into the back of the net to give OSU the win.

Up next, the Cowgirls return home to face UTEP on Saturday at Neal Patterson Stadium.
