Cowboys Head to Austin For George Hannon Invite

AUSTIN, Texas – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will be back in action this week when it travels to Austin, Texas to compete at the George Hannon Invitational.
The event will be contested at the University of Texas Golf Club and will consist of 36 holes on Monday and the final round on Tuesday at the par-71, 7,412-yard layout.
OSU's starting five will consist of junior Austin Eckroat, sophomores Eugenio Chacarra and Aman Gupta as well as freshmen Bo Jin and Jonas Baumgartner.
Sophomore Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen will compete individually.
The Cowboys are coming off a sixth-place showing at the Cabo Collegiate earlier this month. Eckroat, who was recently named to the U.S. Walker Cup squad, led the way for the 10th-ranked Pokes, tying for fifth place.
Overall, head coach Alan Bratton's squad has a runner-up showing at the Seminole Intercollegiate and a fourth-place finish at the Timuquana Collegiate to its credit this spring.
