Game Flow

Oklahoma State was able to take control of the game early following a 10-0 run to start the game but, the Shockers struck back with a run of their own to take a one-point lead midway through the first half.
Despite giving up the lead, the Cowboys bounced right back with a 9-0 run to reclaim the lead. The Shockers answered the Cowboy run to take back the lead going into halftime, 31-29.
Out of the halftime break, the Cowboy's defense enabled the Pokes' to 10 straight while they held the Shockers scoreless for over seven minutes to start the half.
Following the back-and-forth trend the Shockers were able to reclaim the lead late in the second half and win the game 60-51.

Game Notes

The Cowboy defense was able hold the Shocker's leading scorer, Tyson Etienne, to 5 points. Etienne came into the averaging 18.6 points per game.
