CFP Rankings Tab OSU at No. 7 Ahead of Bedlam

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team landed at No. 7 in this week's edition of the College Football Playoff Rankings, released Tuesday evening.
This marks the 15th consecutive CFP poll OSU has been a part of dating back to November 5, 2019. This is the highest the Cowboys have been ranked in the College Football Playoff rankings since they appeared at No. 6 on November 17, 2015.
Oklahoma State is one of three teams representing the Big 12 Conference in the CFP Top 25. The Cowboys are the highest ranked member of the conference, followed by No. 8 Baylor and the Pokes next opponent, No. 10 Oklahoma.
The Cowboys are coming off of a 23-0 shutout of Texas Tech in Lubbock, which marked their 10th win of the year, with one week left in the regular season.
Having already clinched its spot in the Big 12 Championship game, a primetime Bedlam matchup with conference championship implications awaits OSU. The Cowboys and Sooners are scheduled for a Saturday night kickoff at 6:30 p.m. on ABC.
There will be one more College Football Playoff rankings announced next Tuesday before the final selection show on Sunday, December 5, following the conference championship games.
