Three Cowgirls Collect Big 12 Soccer Honors

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State had three players selected for 2021 Big 12 Conference soccer accolades.
Grace Yochum was named to the All-Big 12 First Team, while Olyvia Dowell earned All-Big 12 Second Team recognition. Evie Vitali was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team.
With their selections, Yochum and Dowell joined distinguished company as they became the ninth and 10th players in OSU program history to be named an all-conference performer three or more times. Yochum is also just the seventh Cowgirl to earn first-team status twice or more a career; she was also a first-team pick in 2019.
Yochum is tied with Dowell for the OSU lead in scoring this season with six goals and three assists in 18 games.
One of the top scorers in program history, Yochum moved into third place on OSU's career goals list with 33, and she also ranks ninth in program history with 74 points. The Houston native is a senior but has one season of eligibility remaining due to the COVID-19 pandemic altering the 2020 season.
Dowell, who was a first-team all-conference selection last season, has tallied six goals and three assists in 15 games as a junior. She ranked second in the league this season with five goals in Big 12 play.
A native of Longview, Texas, Dowell moved into the top 10 on OSU's all-time assists list this season, with her 18 assists ranking 10th, and her 23 career goals is just one shy of cracking the program's top 10.
Vitali has played all 1,697 minutes in goal for the Cowgirls this season, posting seven shutouts to go along with 68 saves and a 1.01 goals-against average.
A true freshman from Overland Park, Kan., Vitali's seven shutouts are tied for the fifth most in a season in program history and already ranks seventh on the career list.
