Latricia Trammell To Join Cowgirl Basketball Broadcast Team

STILLWATER, Okla. – WNBA coaching veteran Latricia Trammell will join the Cowgirl Basketball program this season as an analyst for both radio and television broadcasts it was announced today.
"I am extremely excited to be joining the Oklahoma State broadcast team. I am truly honored and blessed to be working with incredibly talented individuals who want to continue to grow our game," Trammell said.
Trammell recently completed her third season as an assistant coach for the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks. Under her tutelage, the Sparks finished third in the WNBA in defensive rating in 2020 and 2021. She helped coach Candace Parker to Defensive Player of the Year honors and Brittney Sykes to second-team All-Defensive Team status in 2020. Additionally, Sykes was named a first-team selection this past season.
In her first season with the Sparks, the team finished third in defensive rating and Nneka Ogwumike was tabbed as an all-defensive pick.
Trammell has previously served as an assistant coach for the WNBA's San Antonio Stars, head coach at Oklahoma City University, assistant coach for Georgia State and head coach at Western State University in Colorado. She led the team at Oklahoma City to back-to-back NAIA Division I women's national championships that earned her National Coach of the Year honors in both those years.
She has also served on the WBCA National Convention Advisory Board and the voting committee for USA Today/ESPN D-II Top 25. Trammell holds a 255-131 overall high school and college coaching record in her 27 years on the sidelines.
A native of Seminole, Oklahoma, Trammell played collegiately at Seminole State College and East Central University.
