UNCASVILLE, Conn. – Oklahoma State men's basketball hit the road for the first time this season and defeated UMass Lowell, 80-58, in the Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase in Uncasville, Conn. on Tuesday night.

The win pushed the Cowboys to 3-1 on the season while the Riverhawks suffered their first loss of the season to fall to 2-1.

OSU was able to jump on UMass Lowell early in the game thanks to a 16-3 lead before the Cowboys were able to put together a 6-0 run down the stretch to take a 36-26 lead into halftime.

In the second half, OSU was able to extend its lead during a stretch where it converted on 7-of-9 shots. During that span, Keylan Boone stepped up for OSU by scoring eight-straight points to give the Orange and Black a 17-point advantage.

Riding the run, Oklahoma State continued strong play down the stretch on its way to the 22-point win.

Bryce Thompson led the way for the Cowboys, who had five plays in double digits, with a career-high tying 14 points. Moussa Cisse made his impact by adding his second double-double of the season.

Oklahoma State is back in action again tomorrow night at 7 p.m. where it will take on North Carolina State in the second day of the Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase on CBS Sports Network.
