Cowboys Up One Spot in CFP Rankings

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team moved up one spot to No. 9 in the College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday evening.
The Cowboys had another dominant win on Saturday with a 63-17 victory against TCU. OSU is 9-1 on the season and its three wins over ranked opponents is tied for the second most in the nation, only behind top-ranked Georgia who holds four victories in ranked matchups.
This marks the 14th consecutive CFP poll OSU has been a part of dating back to November 5, 2019. This is the highest the Cowboys have been ranked in the College Football Playoff rankings since they appeared at No. 6 on November 17, 2015.
Oklahoma State is one of three teams representing the Big 12 Conference in the CFP Top 25. The Cowboys are the highest ranked member of the conference, followed closely by No. 11 Baylor and No. 13 Oklahoma.
The College Football Playoff rankings will be announced every Tuesday until the selections show on Sunday, December 5, following the conference championship games.
The final road game of the season awaits No. 9 Oklahoma State as it heads to Lubbock for a 7 p.m. kickoff with Texas Tech, which will be televised on FOX.
