Fans Encouraged to Wear Black Clothing for #BlackoutBPS

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State football fans have the opportunity to be part of an unprecedented experience at Boone Pickens Stadium this Saturday, as OSU hosts its first "#BlackoutBPS" game Saturday night vs. TCU.
In a one-game departure from the traditional "Sea of Orange," all fans are encouraged to dress in black clothing regardless of their seat locations.
The "blackout" is one of several unique aspects of Saturday's festivities, which also include the pregame block party on Hall of Fame Avenue and multiple events to honor Barry Sanders.
The theme for Saturday's game is Military Appreciation, in partnership with Folds of Honor. OSU will honor both Veterans and the 42 Folds of Honor scholarship recipients at OSU. Limited edition black Folds of Honor OSU gear is available for purchase here.
A statue of Sanders, OSU's 1988 Heisman Trophy-winning running back, will be unveiled outside the northwest corner of Boone Pickens Stadium at 5 p.m. The unveiling ceremony is free and open to the public. Sanders will also be added the Cowboy Football Ring of Honor inside the stadium at halftime.
Season tickets and single-game tickets for Cowboy football games are available at okstate.com/tickets or by calling the OSU ticket office at 877-ALL-4-OSU. Fans interested in tickets can also text the OSU ticket office at 877-255-4678. Single game tickets for the TCU game start at $50.
