Cowgirl Tennis Continues Play On Professional Circuit

Oklahoma State's Martina Zerulo, Ayumi Miyamoto, Oona Orpana and Mhai Sawangkaew are representing the Cowgirl tennis team this week at professional tournaments in Texas.

Orpana and Sawangkaew are competing at the Austin 25K. Orpana will face Maribella Zamarripa in the second round of qualifying after defeating Giulia Morlet, 6-4, 6-1, in straight sets yesterday.

Orpana and Sawangkaew will compete in doubles in the afternoon against Rasheeda McAdoo and Chanelle Van Nguyen.

Martina Zerulo and Ayumi Miyamoto begin play today unattached at the Christus Health Pro Challenge in Tyler Texas this afternoon with a doubles match against Reese Brantmeier and Elvina Kalieva.
