Cowboys Close Out Fall Campaign At East Lake Cup

ATLANTA – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule this week when it competes at the East Lake Cup at historic East Lake Golf Club.
The Cowboys will be one of four teams in action at the par-72, 7,430-yard layout. The event features 18 holes of stroke play on Monday to crown the individual champion and to determine seeding for the following two days of match play competition.
The four participating teams were extended invitations as a result of their finishes at the 2021 NCAA Division I Golf Championships in May.
OSU has competed at the event twice previously since its inception in 2015. In 2019, OSU finished second after finishing fourth in their debut in 2018. Former Cowboy All-American Viktor Hovland won the individual title in 2018 after firing a 4-under 68.
The Cowboys' starting five will consist of seniors Eugenio Chacarra and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen as well as juniors Hazen Newman, Brian Stark and Rayhan Thomas.
Live scoring for the event will be available at golfstat.com. Golf Channel will air coverage from 2-5 p.m. (CST).
