Cowboys Sixth At Timuquana

Day One Results
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team opened its spring season on Monday with a 36-hole total of 568 at the Timuquana Collegiate to stand in a tie for sixth place at Timuquana Country Club.
The Cowboys' 8-under tally knotted them with Notre Dame and North Florida at the par-72, 6.949-yard layout. Virginia built a seven-shot cushion over the field, finishing the day at 552. Florida was second at 559, while Liberty held down the third spot at 560.
OSU's Eugenio Chacarra will enter tomorrow's final round in contention after carding rounds of 69 and 67. The sophomore will be chasing Purdue's Joe Weiler, who holds a one-shot leading with his 133 total.
During his second round, Chacarra reeled off four consecutive birdies on Nos. 3-6 to turn in 4-under 32. He added three more birdies on his inward nine for a 1-under 35.
Freshman Brian Stark followed an opening 71 with a 69 to stand in a tie for 14th place at 140.
Sophomore Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen carded rounds of 75 and 69 to finish at 144 and tied for 32nd place. Classmate Leo Oyo signed for rounds of 72 and 76 to come in tied for 58th place at 148.
Junior Austin Eckroat rounded out the starting five, posting a 152 total which included rounds of 75 and 77 to stand alone in 70th place.
Freshman Bo Jin is competing individually and finished the day tied for 16th place at 141 with rounds of 72 and 69.
