:: With reduced capacity at Boone Pickens Stadium due to COVID-19 protocols, today's crowd of 14,668 marked the smallest home crowd for an OSU game since Nov. 25, 1967, when 12,500 were on hand to watch OSU's 49-14 win over Kansas State.
:: OSU held an opponent to under 10 points for the first time since 2017 when the Cowboys won 44-7 at South Alabama.
:: For the third time in the Mike Gundy era, OSU scored less than 20 points in a game and won. The last time came in a 13-10 overtime triumph at Texas in 2017. In Gundy's head coaching debut, the Cowboys opened the 2005 season with a 15-10 victory over Montana State.
:: OSU has won 69 consecutive games when holding its opponent to fewer than 20 points, a streak dating back to Sept. 13, 2003 – the longest active streak in the FBS.
:: The Cowboys have forced a turnover in 46 of their past 54 games and in 55 of their past 64 games dating to 2015.
:: OSU held Tulsa to 0-of-11 on third-down attempts.
:: The Cowboys' defense racked up seven tackles for loss in the contest resulting in a loss of 21 yards.
:: Starting quarterback Spencer Sanders left the game with an injury in the first quarter.
:: Shane Illingworth entered the game in the third quarter, becoming the first true freshman to quarterback the Cowboys in his first career game since Wes Lunt in 2012. He completed all three pass attempts for 73 yards on his first drive, capped by a Chuba Hubbard touchdown run.
:: Illingworth finished 4-of-5 passing for 74 yards.

:: Rodarius Williams made his 40th consecutive start against Tulsa – increasing the longest active start among defensive backs in the FBS.
:: Dillon Stoner's 34-yard punt return in the second quarter marked his career long.

:: Chuba Hubbard had his nation's longest active streak of 11-straight games of recording at least 100 yards rushing snapped as he finished with 93 yards on 27 carries.

:: Safety Tanner McCalister tied a career high with six tackles.
