OSU Track & Field Sets Sights on Outdoor Season

STILLWATER - Oklahoma State track and field will kick off its outdoor season on March 21 with a trip to the TCU Invite in Fort Worth, Texas. The lone indoor performance left this season is Cowgirl senior Aaliyah Birmingham, who will run in the 60 meters at the NCAA Championships on March 13 and 14.
The outdoor schedule includes 14 regular season meets before gearing up for postseason meets, beginning with the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in May.
After opening the season at TCU, the Pokes will head to Austin, Texas, for the Texas Relays beginning on March 25 before heading closer to home for the Oral Roberts Invite on March 28.
OSU ramps up their season in April with seven different meets taking place in the month, beginning April 2 with the Stanford Invite and Jim Click Shootout. The Cowboys and Cowgirls then head to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the John McDonnell Invite on April 9.
Another dual-meet weekend features some Pokes heading to Norman for the John Jacobs Invite, while the rest of the squad makes its way to Waco, Texas, on April 17 for the Michael Johnson Invite.
To close out the month of April, OSU will head to Des Moines, Iowa, for the Drake Relays and then back to Arkansas for the National Relays.
The next week, the Cowboys and Cowgirls will make return trips to TCU and Stanford before closing out the outdoor regular season schedule on May 8 at the Arkansas Twilight and the Payton Jordan Invite in Palo Alto, California.
The Big 12 Outdoor Championships will be hosted by Kansas State this year, where the Pokes are slated to begin competition on May 15. OSU's qualifiers will return to Kansas for the West Regional Prelims taking place in Lawrence beginning on May 29 and the NCAA Outdoor Championships will be held in Austin, Texas, running June 10-13.
