February 27, 2020 | Cowgirl Equestrian
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State equestrian rider Hannah Janson is one of 89 student-athletes given the 2020 Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award, the Big 12 Conference announced Wednesday. It is the conference's highest academic honor.
Janson is a senior at OSU double majoring in marketing and management with a minor in psychology. She has competed at every meet for the Cowgirls this season, holding a 5-4-1 record in Flat and receiving MOP honors against Baylor and UC Davis.
The award is in memory of Dr. Gerald Lage, who served as the Oklahoma State faculty athletics representative with the NCAA and the Big Eight/Big 12 Conference from 1983 until his death in 2007. The award is in its 10th year and has recognized 780 student-athletes from across the conference in that time. This year Oklahoma State earned the second-most honorees with 12.Players Mentioned
