• The Basics
Oklahoma State is headed to the Country Roads of West Virginia with momentum. Back to firing on all cylinders, the Cowboys took down No. 24/24 Texas Tech to give them wins in three of their last four games, with the lone loss coming in a one possession heartbreaker at No. 1/1 Baylor. OSU's renewed emphasis on getting the ball inside will be put to the test against WVU, which features one of the nation's best paint duos in Oscar Tshiebwe and Derek Culver. No player on Oklahoma State's current roster has ever lost inside WVU Coliseum. In fact, Cameron McGriff is averaging 14.3 points and 7.0 rebounds in his three career wins in Morgantown.

As a result, Oklahoma State has shot 45.4 percent from the floor and 54.6 percent in the paint. The Cowboy forwards - Cameron McGriff, Jonathan Laurent, Kalib Boone and Yor Anei - have accounted for 151 of OSU's 279 points (.541) and are shooting a combined 53.4 percent from the floor and 77.1 percent (54-of-70) from the free throw line. What's more, OSU has posted a +7.3 rebounding margin and 14.5 second-chance points per game.

• Road Warriors
Oklahoma State has four true road wins and two neutral-court victories this season. That gives the Cowboys six wins away from home this year, which is tied for the most in the Mike Boynton era and tied with West Virginia for the third most in the Big 12. Only No. 1 Baylor (11) and No. 3 Kansas (11) have more wins away from home than OSU. With three regular season road games remaining, as well as postseason play, OSU has the chance to win the most games away from Gallagher-Iba Arena since the 2004-05 Cowboys won 13 games outside of Stillwater. • The Series with West Virginia
Oklahoma State has won three of the last four meetings with West Virginia to tie the all-time series at eight wins apice. In 2018-19, the Cowboys earned their first season sweep of the Mountaineers since 2013 and 2014, and coincidentally both games had the same final score, 85-77. WVU took the first meeting this season, 55-41, in Stillwater back on Jan. 6. The two programs met only once prior to WVU's joining the Big 12 in 2012-13.

• Success In Morgantown
No player on the OSU roster has ever lost in Morgantown, West Virginia. The Cowboys have won three straight games in WVU Coliseum. No other Big 12 team has won multiple games in Morgantown over the last three seasons and no other Big 12 team has an overall winning record in WVU Coliseum, where OSU is 5-2 all-time. Cowboy senior captains Lindy Waters III, Cameron McGriff and Thomas Dziagwa are 3-0 in Morgantown, which makes them the only active players that can make that claim.
