Post-Game Notes
- Thomas Dziagwa tied James Anderson for sixth on the OSU career list for three-pointers made. Dziagwa now has 225 career treys and is just three away from cracking OSU's career top five.
- Lindy Waters III tied Brooks Thompson for 12th on the OSU career list for three-pointers made. Waters now has 170 career treys.
- Cameron McGriff passed Andre Williams for 12th on the OSU career rebounds list. McGriff now has 668 career boards.
- For only the sixth time this season, an Oklahoma State opponent reached the 80-point mark.
- Oklahoma took a 43-30 lead into the locker room at halftime, marking the second-most points for an OSU opponent in the opening stanza this season. The previous high was 46 by Minnesota on Dec. 21.
- Oklahoma State went with the starting lineup of Jonathan Laurent, Cameron McGriff, Yor Anei, Lindy Waters and Isaac Likekele. It's only the second time this season that group started together. For Laurent, it was his third start of the season.
- OSU has made at least one three-pointer in 637 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 13, 2001, which is the 24th longest current streak in college basketball.
Game Flow
- Oklahoma forward Brady Manek was the driving force behind the Sooners creating separation in the first half. Manek had 22 points on 6-of-9 shooting from three-point range before halftime and as a team, OU shot 45.7 percent from the field to get out to a 43-30 advantage going into the locker room. The lead swelled to as many as 20 in the second half and Manek finished with 30 points.
Individual Streaks and Trends
- Cameron McGriff entered Saturday's contest leading the team by averaging 12.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game against Big 12 opponents. He went for 15 points and eight boards against the Sooners.
- For the third time in his last four games played against Oklahoma, Cameron McGriff scored in double figures.
- Including his 10-point effort Saturday, Isaac Likekele has reached double-figures in scoring in each of the last five games. His six assists matched his season high against a Big 12 opponent.
- Thomas Dziagwa provided some offensive punch in the second half and finished the game with 15 points on 4-of-7 shooting from three-point range. He has now reached double figures in four of his last five games.
- Yor Anei has blocked at least one shot in 46 of his 53 career games.
- Cameron McGriff has started 66 consecutive games for the Cowboys, which is the 37th longest active streak in college basketball.
