Cowboy Football in Top-15 of Polls

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team landed at No. 14 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 12 in the USA Today Coaches Poll released Sunday.
The Cowboys suffered their first loss of the season in an overtime game against Texas, but remain the highest-ranked Big 12 team for the fifth straight week. The loss ended the Cowboys run of four straight weeks being ranked in the top-10, which is tied for the fourth longest streak in program history.
Iowa State and Oklahoma both moved into the top-20 with the Cyclones at No. 17 and the Sooners at No. 19 in both major polls. No. 22 Texas returned to the AP Top 25 after defeating the Cowboys on Saturday.
No. 14/12 Oklahoma State will travel to Manhattan, Kansas next for a conference matchup with Kansas State who is tied with OSU atop the Big 12 standings and is receiving votes in both polls.
