IRVING, Texas — For the fourth time this season, Oklahoma State has a player on the list of Big 12 Conference weekly award winners as Emily Plotz was named the Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week following her performance against Texas.
Plotz recorded her third shutout of the season in OSU's 2-0 win over the Longhorns as the senior from Florida tallied five saves, one shy of her season high.
Against a UT attack that had scored 10 goals in its previous four games, Plotz posted a clean sheet after facing 11 shots and five corner kicks from the Horns.
Plotz joins Grace Yochum (Sept. 22), Olyvia Dowell (Sept. 29) and Kionna Simon (Oct. 6) as Cowgirls to earn Big 12 weekly awards this season.
