October 11, 2020 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team moved up three spots to No. 7 in both the Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll released Sunday. It is the highest AP ranking for OSU since it was voted No. 6 in week four of the 2017 season.
The Cowboys were on a bye week, but were able to rise in the rankings due to losses by two top-10 teams.
OSU remains the highest ranked Big 12 team at No.7 and is followed by No. 20 Iowa State and No. 22 Kansas State. The Cowboys, Cyclones and Wildcats are all unbeaten in conference play and sit atop the conference standings. Oklahoma, West Virginia, Texas and TCU are unranked, but are receiving votes in both polls.
Oklahoma State plays Baylor on Saturday in a primetime matchup at 6:30 p.m. on ABC.
