Gundy Included in ESPNU Coaches Film Room Broadcast of CFP Championship

STILLWATER - Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy will provide analysis as part of ESPNU's Coaches Film Room broadcast of the 2020 CFP Championship Game between Clemson and LSU. The Coaches Film Room show starts at 7 p.m. CT on Monday, Jan. 13 and can be seen on ESPNU and on the ESPN app.

Gundy is one of four coaches participating. He'll be joined by TCU's Gary Patterson, Vanderbilt's Derek Mason and Boston College's Jeff Hafley. For Gundy, it's the second time in three years that he's been invited to participate in the show, as he also helped break down the action from the 2018 CFP Championship between Alabama and Georgia.

The premise of the show is active coaches providing real-time insights into what is happening in the game. It's an alternative way for viewers to watch the game with a focus on in-game strategy.

Gundy recently finished his 15th year as head coach of the Cowboys and is presiding over Oklahoma State's most successful era. He is the fourth-winningest coach in Big 12 Conference history and under his watch, OSU won 93 games from 2010-19, a mark that ranked 12th in the nation during the decade. With Gundy at the helm, OSU has recruited and developed 23 All-Americans and six major award winners. Off the field, he has overseen a run of academic success that includes a perfect single-year APR of 1,000 in 2018 and a school-record multi-year APR of 982 in 2019.
